While commonly considered a stopover on the way to Leh via the Manali-Leh Highway, I hold a different view. Jispa is truly deserving of a dedicated visit, standing at an elevation of 10,500 feet. With around 78 households, this peaceful village serves as a rest point for travelers on the lengthy journey to Leh-Ladakh. The serene, quiet, and tranquil atmosphere of the village, coupled with its small population, offers a profoundly peaceful and unforgettable experience reminiscent of Zen.
